1 person hospitalized after shooting on West Side, SAFD says

The shooting happened at the intersection of W. Poplar Street and N. Hamilton Avenue

SAN ANTONIO – One person was hospitalized with a gunshot wound after a shooting on the West Side, according to the San Antonio Fire Department.

The shooting happened just after 9 p.m. Thursday at the intersection of West Poplar Street and North Hamilton Avenue.

The condition of the shooting victim is unclear.

During San Antonio police’s investigation, KSAT witnessed multiple shell casings on the ground. It is also unclear how many times the victim was shot.
