An hours-long standoff with police ended peacefully after a man seen with a rifle prompted the evacuation of a Northwest Side neighborhood Wednesday, police said. The evacuation was precautionary and there was no threat to neighbors, according to San Antonio police spokesperson Officer Cory Schuler. A police helicopter flew overhead and confirmed Bringier was outside with a rifle and reported that he appeared to be agitated.
