1 killed in two-vehicle crash on Northwest Side identified

Crash reported on Kyle Seale Parkway near Sonoma Parkway

SAN ANTONIO – A two-vehicle crash on the Northwest Side resulted in one fatality, according to the San Antonio Fire Department.

The crash occurred just before 6:45 p.m. Thursday in the 14900 block of Kyle Seale Parkway, near Sonoma Parkway.

New information from the San Antonio Police Department reveals that the incident involved a 44-year-old man, identified as Valdemar Eli Gracia, operating a Suzuki Grand Vitara.

Gracia was exiting a private drive at 14900 Kyle Seale Parkway when he failed to yield to a Ford F-250 traveling north on Kyle Seale Parkway, police said.

The F-250 collided with the side of the Suzuki, causing Gracia to sustain life-threatening injuries. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

The driver of the F-250 remained on the scene and cooperated with the police investigation.

Authorities have determined that there are no criminal elements involved in this crash.
