Hotel guest caught in crossfire of road rage shooting, SAPD says

Police said two cars involved in a road rage incident were shooting at each other

SAN ANTONIO – A 28-year-old woman was caught in between gunfire after stepping out of her hotel room, according to San Antonio police.

The shooting happened around 1 a.m. on Sunday in the 5500 block of I-35 Northbound.

The woman told officers that she was shot after two cars nearby were involved in a road rage incident, according to police.

One of the gunshots from the road rage hit the woman while she was walking out of her hotel room, SAPD said.

The woman was transported to a local hospital in stable condition, police said.
