Another cold night, then turning spring-like

Plan for a cold morning followed by a warm afternoon, then just warm

FORECAST HIGHLIGHTS

  • ANOTHER COLD NIGHT: Back into the 30s tonight, but mostly above freezing
  • FOG, DRIZZLE, WARMER: By Friday and through the weekend, we’ll see warmer weather, with foggy, drizzly mornings

FORECAST

Plan for another chilly night with temperatures dropping into the low to mid 30s, but just like last night, we should stay above freezing within Loop 1604 in San Antonio. Despite a cold morning, you’ll be fine in short sleeves by the afternoon with temperatures back in the mid 60s. Thereafter, it’ll only get warmer.

Noticeable humidity will return Friday and especially over the weekend, which will lead to damp mornings with fog and drizzle everyday starting Friday. The morning dampness and reduced visibility won’t go away until our next weak cold front arrives late Monday and sweeps away the humidity.

As for temperatures, mornings will warm into the low/mid 60s by the weekend, which is 20°-25° above average. At the same time, afternoons will jump well into the 70s.

A few weak cold fronts are expected next week, but nothing strong enough to cause freezing temperatures.
