Most miss out on rain, with just a stray shower or two possible

Warm and muggy for trick-or-treaters Thursday evening.
HALLOWEEN FORECAST HIGHLIGHTS
  • THIS EVENING: Warm and muggy, most stay dry
  • THIS WEEKEND: Isolated rain chances, highs in the 80s
  • NEXT WEEK: A more significant cool-down arrives with a cold front late Monday
FORECAST

Happy Halloween!

A weak front has pushed through Bexar County, but you wouldn’t know it considering temperatures managed to climb into the upper 80s/near 90° this afternoon. The front will stall just south of San Antonio, but it will still be warm and muggy for trick-or-treaters as temperatures fall through the 80s and eventually into the 70s after sunset.

We’ll keep a 10% chance for a stray shower or two in the forecast this evening, but most will stay dry for the remainder of this Halloween!

A few showers will be possible overnight and into Friday morning, but anything found will be pretty light. A few downpours, however, can’t be ruled out by Friday afternoon, with coverage still somewhat isolated at 30%. We’ll also call for mostly cloudy skies throughout the day with highs in the low 80s by Friday afternoon.

Mostly cloudy with generally isolated rain possible.

A few more generally small rain chances are in the forecast this weekend with temperatures still warmer than average. A slightly better chance for showers and a few storms arrives on Monday as a more noticeable cold front moves in. This looks to bring highs down into the 70s by Tuesday, along with cooler mornings in the 50s & 60s!

We’ll keep you posted as we fine-tune the details... until then, have a happy and safe Halloween! ~ Mia
