Joe Mixon is active for the Houston Texans’ divisional playoff game against the Kansas City Chiefs.

Texans wide receiver Tank Dell was taken to the University of Kansas Medical Center and will remain overnight after sustaining a severe left knee injury while making in a 30-yard touchdown catch in a 27-19 loss to the Chiefs.

Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes was starting and wide receiver Marquise Brown was active for their game against the Houston Texans.

The Texans traded up twice on the second day of the draft, first to select Penn State center Juice Scruggs with the 62nd pick and then to get Houston Cougars wide receiver Tank Dell seven spots later.

Being a good, but definitely not great, quarterback can be a rough ride in college football, especially when fans see only a ceiling they wish was higher.
