San Antonio Spurs forward Harrison Barnes and his wife significantly contributed to the AlamoPROMISE tuition-free program on Tuesday.

The University of Texas at San Antonio and the Alamo Colleges District announced an expanded transfer agreement, allowing eligible students to start at any of the Alamo Colleges and transfer to UTSA to complete a four-year degree while having educational costs covered.

Alamo Colleges District announced Thursday that it has expanded its offer of tuition-free college to thousands more high school students through its AlamoPROMISE program.
