Witnesses told police a man drove down Terry Court, parked at a vacant house and used a handgun to fire between eight to 12 rounds toward the house.

Approximately 20 people were inside the house, police said. No injuries were reported.

Officers spotted the suspect at the intersection of Terry Court and Valero Street and conducted a traffic stop. The shooter, a 24-year-old man, was arrested without incident, police said.

According to police, the man said he had been at a bar when he got into an argument with his girlfriend. He then left the bar and began shooting randomly from his vehicle.

The man, who has not been identified, was arrested and booked on counts of deadly conduct, driving while intoxicated and unlawful carrying of a firearm.

Additional charges are possible, police said.

The investigation is ongoing.
