25-year-old man critically injured in drive-by shooting, SAPD says

SAN ANTONIO – A 25-year-old man was hospitalized in critical condition after being shot in a drive-by shooting, according to San Antonio police.

The shooting happened around 2 a.m. Saturday in the 1600 block of S. General McMullen, not far from U.S. Highway 90.

Several officers heard gunshots while on patrol. Police said the gunman had driven by in a vehicle and shot the victim.

Upon further investigation, SAPD said the 25-year-old man and the gunman argued with each other while attending a party.

The argument resulted in the suspect shooting the 25-year-old man, police said.

The victim was taken to a hospital by a family member in critical condition, according to police.

The identity of the shooter is unknown.
