Man injured after person shoots through apartment window, SAPD says

Shooter drove away from scene in a blue van

SAN ANTONIO – A man was left injured after a person shot through his window at an apartment complex on the North Side, according to San Antonio police.

According to police, the male victim told police the 26-year-old suspect came to the apartment complex in the 1300 block of Patricia Drive around 1:30 a.m. Monday.

After the victim and his girlfriend did not let the suspect inside, the man fired a shot through a patio window, a preliminary report from SAPD said.

The shot missed the victim, but shattered glass cut the man across his face. The suspect drove away in a blue van, police said.

The man was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
