Yee-haw! It’s rodeo season.

While the San Antonio Stock Show and Rodeo does not officially start on Feb. 6, it has already kicked off rodeo festivities such as Western Heritage Weekend.

The month features an array of events, including attending the 12th annual San Antonio Coffee Festival in Civic Park to watching a movie underneath the stars at the Tower of the Americas.

Here’s a look at what’s going on around San Antonio this February:

Feb. 1-8 events:

  • CINEMARK’S “LOVE YOU TO DEATH” PROGRAM: From Feb. 1 to Feb. 5, Cinemark theaters will play horror favorites, all leading up to the new slasher film “Heart Eyes,” which will be released on Feb. 7. A list of scheduled movies can be found here.
  • FLIX AT LA CANTERA: The Rock at La Cantera will host a free movie screening of “Remember the Titans” at 5 p.m. on Feb. 1.
  • JEFF ALLEN: The comedian will perform his ”We’re Still Not There Yet!” tour at 7:30 p.m. on Feb. 7 at the Charline McCombs Empire Theatre. Tickets are available online.
  • KERRVILLE RENAISSANCE FESTIVAL: The Kerrville Renaissance Festival will take place between Feb. 1-2. The celebration will be held from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at River Star Arts and Events Park, located at 3785 TX-27 in Kerrville. Click here for more information.
  • LES MISERABLES: The Tony Award-winning musical will take the Majestic Theatre stage until Feb. 2. Tickets are available online.
  • LUNAR NEW YEAR EVENT: Celebrate the year of the snake at the Pearl at its Lunar New Year event from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Pearl Park. The celebration will include a dragon dance, calligraphy lessons and more.
  • LOS TIGERES DEL NORTE: The group will take the stage at the Boeing Center at Tech Port at 8 p.m. on Feb. 7. Click here for tickets.
  • MOVIE IN THE PARK: The Tower of the Americas will have a free movie screening for “Sweet Home Alabama” from 5:30-8:30 p.m. on Feb. 8.
  • MOVIE MONDAYS: Pearl will host a free movie screening of “Hidden Figures” from 6:30-9 p.m. on Feb. 3.
  • SAN ANTONIO COFFEE FESTIVAL: The 12th annual event will take place from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Civic Park at Hemisfair on Feb. 8. Attendees get a chance to taste fresh, local roasted worldwide. Tickets can be purchased here.
  • TOBIN CENTER CINEMA: The plaza will host a free movie screening for “Sabrina” at 7 p.m. at the Will Naylor Smith River Walk Plaza at the Tobin Center.
  • WESTERN HERITAGE WEEKEND: The San Antonio Stock Show and Rodeo will kick off the 2025 season this weekend. The parade will start at 11 a.m. on Feb. 1. KSAT will livestream the festivities in this article. The Vaquero Cook-Off will also take place this weekend. Click here for more details.
  • WINTER RESTAURANT WEEKS: The Culinaria biannual event will continue until Feb. 1. Click here for a list of participating restaurants serving up three-course menus for brunch, lunch and dinner.
  • WORLD HERITAGE CENTER GRAND OPENING: The City of San Antonio will have its grand opening of the World Heritage Center from 10 a.m. to noon on Feb. 7 at 100 W. Houston St. The event is free.

Feb. 9-15 events:

  • BEXAR COUNTY WEDDING CEREMONIES: If you and your partner have decided to get married in the month of love, the Bexar County Courthouse is continuing its tradition of hosting free wedding ceremonies on Valentine’s Day. Click here to read more details on how that can be done.
  • HENRY CHO: The comedian will perform his “Empty Nest” tour at 8 p.m. on Feb. 14 at the Charline McCombs Empire Theatre. Tickets can be found here.
  • MOVIE MONDAYS: Pearl will host a free movie screening of “Twilight” from 6:30-9 p.m. on Feb. 10.
  • SUPER SUNDAY: The Rock at La Cantera will host Super Sunday for “Super Bowl Sunday” at 4 p.m. on Feb. 9. More information can be found here.
  • VALENTINE’S DAY AT SAN ANTONIO ZOO: If you’re looking for love, in love or you’re simply just out of love, the San Antonio Zoo will have different options to make Feb. 14 memorable. The zoo’s “Cry Me a Cockroach” fundraiser returns for those trying to “ex-terminate” a past love. If you’re in love, when you donate $10, you’ll get a special Kiss-O-Gram video from a loveable zoo resident touching the camera with a “kiss.” On Feb. 8, “Meet Your Next Ex” will also take place from 7-10 p.m. Click here for more details on the events and additional Valentine’s Day-theme events.

Feb. 16-22 events:

  • ALI SIDDIQ: The comedian will perform his “In the Shadows” tour at 7 p.m. on Feb. 22 at the Majestic Theatre. Tickets can be purchased here.
  • MOVIE MONDAYS: Pearl will host a free movie screening of “Black Panther” from 6:30-9 p.m. on Feb. 17.

Feb. 23-28 events:

  • FOURTH FRIDAY: The Rock at La Cantera will host its Fourth Friday event from 6:30-11 p.m. on Feb. 28.
  • HELLO KITTY CAFE TRUCK: The Hello Kitty Cafe Truck will make its appearance from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Feb. 22 at North Star Mall. Cash is not accepted at this event.
  • MOVIE MONDAYS: Pearl will host a free movie screening of “Remember the Titan” from 6:30-9 p.m. on Feb. 24.
  • RIVER WALK MARDI GRAS ARTISAN SHOW: Stroll and shop along the River Walk during the River Walk Mardi Gras Artisan Show from Feb. 28 through March 2.

Recurring events:

  • BLACK HISTORY MONTH: Several places will host film series, exhibits, Black History tours and more to honor the celebration. Click here to view a list of locations happening around the Alamo City.
  • FREE YOGA SESSION: The Good Kind will host a free yoga session from 10-11 a.m. every Sunday.
  • MARKET DAYS: Visit Pearl for Farmers Market every Saturday from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. to shop for local produce and meat. Pearl is located at 303 Pearl Pkwy.
  • MARDI GRAS FESTIVAL: Six Flags Fiesta Texas will bring its 9th annual Mardi Gras Festival through selected dates until March 16. Attendees can enjoy from a parade to delicious Mardi Gras-themed food. More information can be found online.
  • SAN ANTONIO STOCK SHOW & RODEO: The rodeo will take place at the AT&T Center and Freeman Coliseum fairgrounds from Feb. 6 to Feb. 23. Several artists, including Jon Pardi, Eli Young Band and more, will make appearances this season. Click here for our latest rodeo coverage.
  • SAN ANTONIO ZOO LOCALS DAY: Bexar County residents can get an $8 admission to the San Antonio Zoo during Locals Day on Feb. 8 and Feb. 23. The zoo’s hours are from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily.
