A notification sent to families obtained by KSAT stated that a water line at the school was accidentally cut.

As a result of the issue, students were provided with bottled water. Additionally, Jefferson High School rented a water tank for restroom purposes.

The school’s principal clarified that “lunches and all other campus functions are running as usual.”

SAWS said they are working quickly to fix the 8-inch main water break.

The company anticipates that the water main break will be resolved later Wednesday.
