SAN ANTONIO – Whataburger is offering free honey butter chicken biscuits this week to celebrate the San Antonio-based fast-food chain’s newest brand ambassador.
The company announced Grammy award-winning country star Lainey Wilson as the official brand ambassador of 2025 on Friday.

To celebrate its 75th anniversary, Whataburger is giving fans a taste of Wilson’s favorite post-show indulgence from the Texan food chain.
The honey butter chicken biscuit will be free at participating locations on Tuesday, Jan. 28, from 6 - 11 a.m. All participating Whataburger locations will provide one biscuit per walk-in or drive-through customer while supplies last, no purchase necessary.
“I’ve been rolling through Whataburger drive-thrus since I was just a small-town girl in Louisiana with big dreams,” Wilson said in a news release. “From grabbing Honey Butter Chicken Biscuits with my daddy between horse sales and rodeos to late-night stops on the road playing honky-tonks — Whataburger’s been part of my story every step of the way.”
