SAN ANTONIO – A baseball-themed restaurant plans to make a home run on the Northwest Side of the Alamo City at the end of 2025.

Project details indicate the venue will include an outdoor wiffle ball field and full-service food and drink amenities.

According to a statement from the franchise, Home Run Dugout will also feature pitching and their Batting Bays with augmented reality games and projection screens.

“Hitting a home run is an unmatched experience, whether you’re an athlete or not,” said Tyler Bambrick, Home Run Dugout co-founder and CEO. “We’re absolutely thrilled to continue our mission of creating that experience for as many people as possible.”

Home Run Dugout originally opened in Katy two years ago. The franchise is also planning to open another new location in Scottsdale, Arizona, the statement said.
