BCSO discontinue search for woman with diagnosed medical condition after she is found safe

The Bexar County Sheriff’s Office has discontinued a search for a woman who had been missing since Tuesday afternoon.

Katie Jean Haas, 33, was safely located, according to an updated BCSO Facebook post.

The Bexar County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s help finding a missing woman last seen in northeast Bexar County.

Katie Jean Haas, 33, was reported missing Tuesday night, according to a BCSO Facebook post.

Haas was last seen in the 4000 block of Sommerville Bay around 4 p.m. Tuesday.

The sheriff’s office said she could potentially also be in the area around the 3000 block of Candleside Drive.

Haas has a diagnosed medical condition that requires medication, BCSO said.

Haas stands at 5-foot-1 and weighs 140 pounds. She has brown hair and hazel eyes.

She was last seen wearing a light blue hoodie with a picture of “Lilo & Stitch” on it, dark pants and a “Lilo & Stitch” backpack.
