Garage-operated meters will be free from midnight on Jan. 1 to 6 a.m. on Jan. 2.

However, the usual Downtown Tuesday program will be temporarily suspended on Tuesday, the schedule said.

This means regular meter rates are in effect, and event parking rates will apply at City of San Antonio parking facilities.
