SAPD released an update on Saturday that confirmed the man riding a motorcycle died in the crash.

The Bexar County Medical Examiner’s Office also identified the motorcyclist as Caleb Carter on Saturday morning.

Witnesses told police that Carter weaved in and out of traffic at high speeds while riding a Yamaha motorcycle northbound on Zarzamora Street.

Authorities said Carter was ejected from the motorcycle after he crashed into a Ford Explorer making a left turn from Zarzamora Street and into an apartment complex.
