“If you would have told me 10 years ago all of the amazing things we would accomplish or how many beautiful humans this journey would lead us to meet, I would have said you were crazy,” the social media post stated, in part.

Dignowity Meats is located at 1701 E. Houston St in the Dignowity Hill neighborhood on the East Side.

“We have truly cherished our time on the East Side and will forever hold a special place for this restaurant in our hearts,” the post stated.

The restaurant did not mention in its post why Dignowity Meats is closing.

“Thank you to everyone who played a part in this journey, every guest who dined with us, every employee past or present who helped us build something special,” stated in the post.

Dignowity Meats’ last service day will be Monday, Dec. 30.
