2 men stabbed following dispute over electric bill, SAPD says

Police: The suspect ran off but was detained nearby

A man was detained overnight after San Antonio police say he stabbed two men late Tuesday, Dec. 24, 2024, in the 12200 block of Interstate 10 West. (KSAT)

SAN ANTONIO – A man was detained overnight after San Antonio police say he stabbed two men during an argument.

The stabbing happened just after 11:50 p.m. Tuesday in the 12200 block of Interstate 10 West on the Northwest Side.

According to SAPD, three roommates were arguing over an electric bill when one of them retrieved a knife and stabbed his roommates.

The stabbing victims, ages 28 and 32, were taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

The suspect, 34, ran off, police said.

He later called the police and told them his location, according to a preliminary report from SAPD. He was arrested and charged with two counts of aggravated a
