SAN ANTONIO – A woman is dead and two men are hospitalized following a shooting outside a Stone Oak home, according to the San Antonio Police Department.
San Antonio police officers responded to a call after someone reported hearing shots fired after 5 p.m. Wednesday in the 17900 block of Winter Hill. The person also said they claimed to have seen a body in a front yard, SAPD said.

Police said the woman was in her late 30s or early 40s and was found in a front yard along with an injured man in his 20s. Officers then located a second man injured inside a home, police said.
The two men were transported to a local hospital with life-threatening injuries, police said.
The woman was later pronounced dead, authorities said.
SAPD said it is investigating what led up to the shooting.
