Muertos Fest at Hemisfair is San Antonioâs largest DĂa de Los Muertos festival.
The 11th annual free festival took place on Oct. 28 and 29.
Muertos Fest was previously named one of the seven best fall festivals in the U.S. by National Geographic.
During an announcement of the musical lineup, Mayor Ron Nirenberg said the festival has grown tremendously over the past 11 years. In 2022, about 130,000 people attended Muertos Fest.
âItâs going to grow every single year, itâs going to be even bigger this year, especially in our new space here at Civic Park,â he said, calling it an âimportantâ tradition. âWe want San Antonio to be the spot on the map in the Americas where people can see that tradition come to life.â
