After snow overnight, San Antonio will see a frigid Monday
SAN ANTONIO โ Snow is blanketing San Antonio. Hereโs what you need to know:Winter WonderlandSunday night into Monday, San Antonio and the surrounding area saw 3-6 inches of snowfall -- the most the area has seen since 1985. The city of San Antonio and WellMed have both decided to reschedule vaccination appointments on Monday.

Tropical depression forms in the Gulf of Mexico
SAN ANTONIO As of late Tuesday night (7/22), Tropical Depression Eight has formed in the Gulf of Mexico, and is slowly moving west-northwest at 6 mph with sustained winds of 30 mph. If this system strengthens to gain winds of 39 mph or greater, it will become Tropical Storm Hanna. Beneficial Rainfall PossibleJuly has been bone-dry, with only a trace amount of rain officially recorded at San Antonio International Airport. With the approach of Tropical Depression Eight, rain chances are looking promising for San Antonio Saturday (7/25) and Sunday (7/26). Chance for severe storms Wednesday evening

Parts of northwestern Bexar County, west central Comal County and Kendall County are also under severe thunderstorm warnings, according to the National Weather Service. It lasts until 10:00 p.m. The threat diminishes for places south or west of Bexar County.
