Teen indicted for capital murder in summer slaying of young mother
SAN ANTONIO โ The last of three men accused in the robbery and slaying of 19-year-old Jasmine Williams has been indicted on capital murder charges in the teenage motherโs death. Williams, the mother of 2 toddlers, was shot to death in her West Side home in the 8600 block of Limpkin Court just after noon on July 14. Police said a cell phone, two pairs of sneakers, a credit card and a piggy bank containing coins were taken from Williamsโ home. โShe didnโt deserve to die like that, nobody does, and I want justice,โ Laurie Schneider, Williamsโ mother, said that day. Two other men, Kyle Philips, 18, and Dorian Murphree, 22, are also jailed and facing charges in Williamsโ murder.
Kirby man faces capital murder charge in connection with child abuse case from 2015
KIRBY, Texas โ Five years after his father severely beat him, a Kirby boy has died, and his father now faces a capital murder charge, police say. The 38-year old man was convicted of child abuse in 2019 and sentenced to three years in prison. But he says child abuse happens everywhere and urges parents to seek help or step back if they feel frustrated with their child. Man, 20, indicted in drug-related shooting deaths of 2 people
SAN ANTONIO โ A Bexar County grand jury indicted a 20-year-old man in connection with the drug-related shooting deaths of two people. Zion Limon is charged with capital murder in the May 2 slayings of Darren Meeks and Chance Seiter near an apartment complex on the North Side. The man stopped to talk with her, and officers identified him as Limon. Limon was also holding a gym-style bag and claimed he had more weapons in it, according to the affidavit. Upon further investigation, officers said Limonโs gym bag had more weapons in it and clothing covered in blood.
Edwards County announces arrest of suspect in 7-year-old capital murder case
EDWARD'S COUNTY, TX โ The Edwards County Sheriffโs Office announced on Tuesday a second arrest in a seven-year-old capital murder case. Rosa Yareli Medina, 33, a resident of San Antonio, was booked into the Edwards County Detention Center on Monday and charged with first-degree murder. Medina is the second person charged in the death of Inez Santa Cruz who was killed in Edwards County on the first or second of September in 2012. Edwards County said in a press release that Medinaโs arrest came after an โextensive investigation by multiple agencies collaboratingโ to recover and analyze evidence related to the murder of Santa Cruz in 2012. San Antonio man indicted in fatal stabbing of mother, sister
SAN ANTONIO โ A Bexar County grand jury has indicted a 19-year-old San Antonio man in connection with the fatal stabbing of his mother and sister in front of relatives. Jose Heriberto Mojica Hernandez Jr. is charged with capital murder in the deaths of Raquel Hernandez-Mojica and Andrea Hernandez. Teen charged with capital murder to remain in juvenile detention until next hearing
SAN ANTONIO โ A 15-year-old boy charged with capital murder will remain in juvenile detention. The teen was arrested late last year in connection with the murder of 34-year-old Shaun Baker. A detention hearing was held for the teen Tuesday. The state said during the hearing that it had filed a motion to try the teen as an adult. The teenโs next detention hearing will be next month.

NEW BRAUNFELS, Texas โ A 22-year-old New Braunfels man has been charged with capital murder in connection with the shooting death of a 31-year-old man. According to New Braunfels police, Koever Henke-Wommack shot and killed Stephan Fox on Nov. 30 in the 100 block of North Mesquite Avenue. Police said that Henke-Wommack and Fox had agreed to meet and that the suspect had the intention of robbing the victim. Henke-Wommack shot Fox several times and then fled the scene on foot. Six suspects arrested in shooting death at apartment complex in San Marcos
SAN MARCOS, Texas โ San Marcos police have arrested six suspects in connection with a shooting death at an apartment complex. Police said several guns were found in the green Infiniti SUV. John Coronado, 19, of San Marcos, and Angelo Quihuiz, 18, of Kyle, were taken in for questioning. A 15-year-old juvenile male who was also in the vehicle was taken to the Hays County Juvenile Detention Center. San Marcos police said this is the seventh homicide in the city in 2019.
20-year-old man found guilty in fatal shooting during drug deal
SAN ANTONIO โ A jury on Wednesday found a 20-year-old man guilty of killing a man during a marijuana deal. Charles Robnett is charged with capital murder in the October 2017 fatal shooting of Gary Barnhardt, 20. Trial testimony revealed that Robnett and two other men were supposed to meet Barnhardt and Albert Ramirez, 20, during the drug deal. Drug dealer testifies as capital murder trial beginsAt some point, Robnett opened fire, killing Barnhardt and wounding Ramirez.
