In a move against organized crime, the Trump Administration has intensified its efforts to dismantle the Tren de Aragua gang.

A federal indictment has charged eight individuals, including a San Antonio resident, with operating a human trafficking ring that exploited women from Central and South America and transporting them to the U.S. for prostitution.

Four men believed to be members of the Tren de Aragua gang were arrested for attempting to cross the border into Texas illegally on New Year’s Eve, according to a press release from Governor Greg Abbott’s Office.
