The food court inside the Shops at Rivercenter will undergo a major overhaul, and a popular San Antonio chef will help lead the renovation.

A fire in a parking garage at the Shops at Rivercenter drew a large emergency response to the area early Wednesday morning.

San Antonio police said just after 11 a.m., two women — one in her 30s and one in her 70s — got into a fight inside a bathroom at the mall located in downtown San Antonio in the 800 block of E. Commerce.

The River Walk has gained a new eatery called Sugar Factory, which serves over-the-top desserts and dishes like the 24K Gold Burger for $150. (Yes, it’s a burger that’s covered in edible gold.)
