Moms Demand Action Texas is rallying over 20 groups from across the state to the steps of the state capitol in Austin, where lawmakers are in session.

The Texas state capitol will be filled with gun violence prevention advocates Tuesday to appeal to elected officials set to make gun law changes.

The House has passed a wide-ranging gun control bill in response to recent mass shootings in Buffalo, New York, and Uvalde, Texas.
