Residents have been dealing with the issue for more than six years, but now, city crews are constructing a solution for homes on Encino Crown and Encino Summit.

One San Antonio resident on Encino Crown said her backyard turns into a waterfall almost every time it rains.

The city said crews will start working on the Sienna Basin Revision in the coming weeks. The construction is expected to take six to eight months.
