San Antonio city prosecutors dismissed the remaining misdemeanor citations against the operator of a North Side pet shop this month.

The owners of a North San Antonio pet shop claim the city was unjustified in flooding the property earlier this year with investigators from various city agencies while executing an administrative search warrant.

SAPD records show 409 calls for service in the two years leading up to Tuesday’s DART action, including numerous disturbances, assaults, and drug law violations.

San Antonio’s Dangerous Assessment Response Team, better known as DART, executed a search warrant at an East Side home last week that led investigators to guns and drugs and the arrest of three people.

SAN ANTONIO – San Antonio police say they have once again recovered drugs and arrested several people at what they describe as a problem house on the Northwest Side. The Dangerous Assessment Response Team, or DART, seized meth and arrested at least five people at the home near Rustic Lane and Sandstone Street. "For aggravated assaults and drug possessions, and it has been a problem in this neighborhood for quite some time,” said Officer Steve Beilstein, with the San Antonio Fear Free Environment unit. The last time police went out to the home in July, they found meth, weapons, homemade pipe bombs and an improvised grenade. Beilstein said the latest bust is also linked to another drug operation on Tioga Drive, not far from the house near Rustic Lane and Sandstone Street.
