Improved bike lane infrastructure around Woodlawn Lake will again be discussed at a public meeting with San Antonio’s Transportation Department.

Vision Zero and the Bike Network Plan are expected to receive support from a grant issued to San Antonio's Transportation Department as part of the Safe Streets and Roads for All program.

In a Tuesday briefing to the city’s Transportation and Infrastructure Committee, the team behind updating the Bike Network Plan provided updates and expectations for the third phase of their project.

The City of San Antonio said it is starting its two-year Bike Network Plan in an effort to improve bicycle safety and infrastructure.
