Shelby Ebertowski joined KSAT 12 News in January 2025. She came to San Antonio from Fargo, North Dakota where she learned the ropes as an on-air forecaster over a two-year span at KVLY while finishing her Atmospheric Science Degree at the University of North Dakota.
Her love for weather began after Hurricane Harvey rolled into Southeast Texas in 2017 when she was in high school in Sugar Land. Since then, she has covered every kind of weather event, from summer heat waves with temperatures ranging from 100 degrees above to winter storms with temperatures 30 degrees below zero.
In her free time, she enjoys connecting with family and friends, discovering exciting new places, and trying different foods.
