Biyombo, 32, brings additional size to the Spurs' frontcourt with his 6-foot 8-inch frame.
A former seventh overall pick in the 2011 NBA Draft, Biyombo has spent over a decade in the league.
He’s appeared with the Charlotte Hornets, Toronto Raptors, Orlando Magic, Phoenix Suns, Oklahoma City Thunder and Memphis Grizzlies.
Biyombo’s short-term deal allows him to showcase his value to the Spurs' coaching staff.
Should Biyombo impress during his 10-day stint, San Antonio could consider keeping him longer.
