SAN ANTONIO – Thousands of children showcased their dribbling skills on a one-mile course during the NCAA Men’s Final Four Dribble presented by Buick on Sunday.
The event was held at 10 a.m. at Travis Park, where many crossed the finish line at the Men’s Final Four Fan Fest.
“I like basketball more than anything, like a lot a lot a lot,” said dribblers Christian and Brayden. “It’s so convenient that the Final Four has been in San Antonio.”
Groups of kids like Max and Margot Wright said dribbling is one of their favorite hobbies and a great way to make new friends.
“It’s just a fun activity that I like to do, and you can play with all of your friends,” they said. “We’re extremely good at dribbling too.”
Young athlete Michael Lenton was extra focused on the event.
“It’s all about trying to get to the finish line and taking my time,” he said.

The Dribble was held with help from the University of Incarnate Word band, cheer team, University of Texas at San Antonio cheer team and volunteers who blew up 3,200 basketballs.
Dribble participants used a unique NCAA Men’s Final Four Dribble Wilson basketball at the event.
The Final Four brought a jam-packed weekend of activities to the Alamo City.
The last two teams will compete for the championship title at 7:50 p.m. on Monday, April 7, when Florida and Houston face off at the Alamodome.
