Market Square will host a Valentine’s Day event for those looking to celebrate the day of love. People can enjoy food and artisan booths offering Valentine-themed treats.

The San Antonio Stock Show and Rodeo continues this weekend, with artists like Zach Top and Tyler Hubbard taking the stage.

Here’s what’s happening in San Antonio this weekend:

Happening over the weekend:

  • “9 TO 5: THE MUSICAL”: The Wonder Theatre is bringing Dolly Parton’s musical “9 to 5″ to life on their mainstage. The shows are on Fridays and Saturdays at 7:30 p.m. and Sundays at 3 p.m., with a special 2 p.m. matinee on March 1. Tickets are available online.
  • BLACK HISTORY MONTH: Several places will host film series, exhibits, Black History tours and more to honor the celebration. Click here to view a list of locations happening around the Alamo City.
  • MARDI GRAS FESTIVAL: Six Flags Fiesta Texas will bring its 9th annual Mardi Gras Festival through selected dates until March 16. Attendees can enjoy from a parade to delicious Mardi Gras-themed food. More information can be found online.
  • SAN ANTONIO STOCK SHOW & RODEO: The rodeo will take place at the AT&T Center and Freeman Coliseum fairgrounds from Feb. 6 to Feb. 23. Several artists, including Zach Top and Pesado, will make appearances this season. Click here for our latest rodeo coverage.
  • SAN ANTONIO ZOO: The zoo is celebrating zoo members throughout February by offering exclusive perks, surprise giveaways, and free experiences to its members. Friday, Feb. 14

  • BEXAR COUNTY WEDDING CEREMONIES: If you and your partner have decided to get married in the month of love, the Bexar County Courthouse is continuing its tradition of hosting free wedding ceremonies on Valentine’s Day. Click here to read more details on how that can be done.
  • HENRY CHO: The comedian will perform his “Empty Nest” tour at 8 p.m. on Feb. 14 at the Charline McCombs Empire Theatre. Tickets can be found here.
  • VALENTINE’S DAY AT MARKET SQUARE: Attendees can head over to Market Square from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and explore a variety of food and artisan booths offering Valentine-themed treats and handcrafted items. Click here for more details.
  • VALENTINE’S DAY AT SAN ANTONIO ZOO: If you’re looking for love, in love or you’re simply just out of love, the San Antonio Zoo will have different options to make Feb. 14 memorable. The zoo’s “Cry Me a Cockroach” fundraiser returns for those trying to “ex-terminate” a past love. Saturday, Feb. 15

  • DESTROY LONELY: The rapper will perform his “Forever Tour” at 8 p.m. at the Aztec Theatre. Tickets are available here.
  • MARKET DAYS: Visit Pearl for Farmers Market every Saturday from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. to shop for local produce and meat. Pearl is located at 303 Pearl Pkwy.
  • MARKET DAYS AT THE TOWER: The Tower of the Americas will host its Market Days from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the base of the tower. Attendees can discover and support local businesses from over 40 local vendors during the event.

Sunday, Feb. 16

  • FREE YOGA SESSION: The Good Kind will host a free yoga session from 10-11 a.m. every Sunday.
  • LOS LONELY BOYS: The group will perform at the Aztec Theatre at 8 p.m. Tickets can be purchased here.
