The airport announced its new SAT Pass program on Tuesday, which allows non-ticketed visitors to go through security to greet their guests at no cost.

To receive a pass, a request must be made on the airport’s website at least 24 hours in advance. If approved, a digital QR code will be sent that can be used to get through the TSA security checkpoint.

“This pass is designed for anyone who wants to spend additional time with a traveler, we listened to our travelers and members of the community, and we feel Valentine’s week is the perfect time to launch this new free service,” said Tonya Hope, public relations manager for the airport.

Starting Tuesday, up to 50 non-ticketed visitors will be approved to go past security with the SAT Pass.
