SAN ANTONIO – The San Antonio Sports Hall of Fame Class of 2025 was unveiled Tuesday afternoon at the Alamodome.
The Hall of Fame includes:
1999 NBA Champion San Antonio Spurs.
The original Spurs Coyote, Tim Derk.
Charlie Boggess, the winningest high school basketball coach in San Antonio history.
Multi-sport All-American and University of Texas Hall of Honor inductee, Sharon Neugebauer-Shepard.
Former SAISD superintendent, pioneering educator and athlete, Dr. Victor Rodriguez.
Created in 1995, the Sports Hall of Fame recognizes people with ties to San Antonio who have made an impact on the city’s sports community through involvement or athletic programs.
The San Antonio Sports Hall of Fame will host a gala in September to recognize and formally induct the Class of 2025. The gala serves as the largest annual fundraiser for the youth and community programs run by San Antonio Sports.
