Traffic congestion clears after crash on I-10 at West Avenue

SAN ANTONIO – Traffic congestion has cleared on Interstate 10 at West Avenue after a crash caused multiple lane closures Sunday morning, according to the Texas Department of Transportation.

The five eastbound lanes on I-10 East at West Avenue had been closed since around 5:45 a.m. Sunday and reopened by Sunday afternoon.

Traffic was being diverted off the interstate and was backed up past the Vance Jackson exit near Crossroads.

KSAT has reached out to officials for more information on the crash.
