PLANO, Texas – Central Market has issued a recall on spinach artichoke dip products sold at its Plano store, the company said in a news release Sunday.
Around 45 pounds of spinach artichoke dip produced and sold at the Plano Central Market on Saturday, Feb. 8, were recalled due to the possible presence of metal in the products, the release says.

The following items are part of the voluntary recall:
- Spinach Artichoke Dip (Sold hot) – PLU: 200000509996
- Spinach Artichoke Dip (Sold cold) – PLU: 296188901219
- Spinach Artichoke Dip self-serve from bulk bar – PLU: 958796
In the news release, Central Market said the recall is precautionary and only applies to the Plano Central Market. The only Central Market in Plano is located at 320 Coit Road.
No injuries related to the recall have been reported, according to the release.
"This is an isolated incident, and the impacted product was produced and sold at this one store. This recall does not affect product from any other Central Market stores," the company said.
All products currently available on shelves are safe and not affected by the recall, the release says.
Customers who purchased the affected products can return them to the store for a full refund. For additional questions, customer can also call the H-E-B Recall Line at 1-855-432-4438 from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday.
