San Antonio ISD officials will host two virtual meetings to give an update on the results of its Facilities Repurposing Survey.
In 2023, district officials proposed and voted to approve the district’s “rightsizing” plan.

Last year, 15 schools closed as part of the plan, and community members were asked to participate in a survey on what should happen to the closed buildings.
SAISD officials said in a release that 9,300 people completed the survey over the last three months.
Results from the survey will be announced on Tuesday, Feb. 4, at noon and 5 p.m. via Zoom.
“SAISD is committed to repurposing facilities affected by rightsizing so that the buildings continue to benefit and serve the community,” said an SAISD official in a press release.
Those wanting to listen to the results must register to receive a Zoom link.
