SAN ANTONIO – One of the largest Coca-Cola bottlers in the United States is rolling out plans to strengthen production and warehouse operations in San Antonio.
Arca Continental Coca-Cola Southwest Beverages (CCSWB) will begin construction on a $42 million expansion project at 1 Coca-Cola Place on March 5.

The investment includes the expansion of the warehouse and parking lot, totaling about 170,000 square feet. More upgrades will consist of a new can line to increase production.
“Our current priority is to be a people-driven, digital bottler,” said Jean Claude Tissot, president of Coca-Cola Southwest Beverages. “The investments we are making at our San Antonio facility will help us continue to achieve this goal and better serve our customers.”
CCSWB is the local Coca-Cola bottler in Texas and parts of Oklahoma, New Mexico and Arkansas. It provides to more than 31 million consumers in the region.
The company has been in San Antonio for nearly 60 years and employs about 800 people.
“Our expansion plans are aligned with the ongoing growth we are experiencing in San Antonio and beyond. We want to ensure we are keeping up with the demand in the communities we serve,” Tissot said.
At this time, there is no project completion date.
