El Tigre Coffee Roasters has been serving Austin since 2019 and is known for having high-quality coffee beans from around the world.
The coffee shop serves light breakfast and lunch with a full menu, which will be revealed closer to the opening.
El Tigre Coffee Roasters will continue to be led by its founder, Tatanka Guerrero. He is an acclaimed restaurateur and creative director based in San Antonio with deep ties to Texas’ culinary community, the release stated.
“San Antonio is a special place, and I’m honored to have been welcomed with open arms into this community,” Guerrero said. “My El Tigre team and I look forward to serving San Antonio residents for years to come, and we can’t wait to get to know all of our new downtown East Side neighbors, including all the bakers, pastry chefs, and farmers, and producers as we look to source as much as we can locally.”
Guerrero said he has some new culinary concepts in the works for the Alamo City.
“Guerrero and his team will continue to work with all-natural and organic producers from around the world who are committed to sustainability, quality, and community, with the goal of inspiring connection, elevating moments, fueling creativity, and ultimately, fostering a world where every sip brings joy and satisfaction,” the release stated.
