Several flights at San Antonio airport canceled, delayed due to winter storm

Texans advised to use caution when driving to airport

SAN ANTONIO – Several flights at the San Antonio airport were canceled or delayed on Tuesday morning.

A winter storm has hit the Alamo City, causing closures in schools, public facilities and stores.

More than 80 flights from the United States and Mexico have been listed as delayed or canceled on San Antonio International Airport’s website, as of 6:30 a.m.

This includes departures and arrivals from Houston, Phoneix, Guadalajara, Dallas-DFW, Los Angeles and more.

The San Antonio International Airport (SAT) posted on its social media that the winter storm has impacted flights across the United States.

SAT is not the only one having issues with flights. In a news release, Houston’s Airports said flight operations are suspended Tuesday.

The Dallas-Fort Worth International Airport reported 162 flights canceled and 22 delays.
