SAN ANTONIO – Thousands of marchers participated in the 38th Annual Martin Luther King Jr. March in San Antonio on Monday.
The march routinely draws tens of thousands, but this year the turnout was impacted by the bitter cold.

According to the KSAT Weather Authority, at the start of the parade, it was 30 degrees Fahrenheit with a windchill of 20 degrees Fahrenheit.
Despite the frigid temperatures, participants still gathered at the MLK Academy and marched to Pittman-Sullivan Park on the East Side.
