Interstate 10 reopens after pedestrian fatally struck by vehicle, officials say

Accident happened on Saturday along I-10 at West Hildebrand Avenue

SAN ANTONIO – The main lanes of Interstate 10 reopened after a pedestrian was struck and killed by a vehicle, according to the San Antonio Fire Department.

The accident happened around 7:45 p.m. on Saturday along I-10 at West Hildebrand Avenue.

A spokesperson for SAFD told KSAT that a person was fatally struck by a vehicle on the highway.

Authorities were on the scene of the accident investigating for several hours.
