According to San Antonio police, multiple shooters allegedly fired into the home with Alvarado inside.

Witnesses told police that approximately four to six men, who they said were believed to be between 15 and 18 years old, fired the shots from an alley into the back of the home.

SAPD said the gunfire struck Alvarado. At the time, police said he was rushed to a local hospital where he was later pronounced dead.

A sergeant at the scene on Monday told KSAT that the shooters used rifles and wore hoodies with their faces covered.

Police said the alleged shooters fled on foot. The county medical examiner’s office ruled Alvardo’s death as a homicide.

SAPD said officers are still searching for the suspects connected to this case.
