According to the Devine News, which first reported Ventimiglia’s big catch, he understandably needed the help of five people to get the stingray on land.

Getting the stingray to land was an approximately an hour-and-a-half process, the Devine News reported.

The stingray was caught on a Penn Battle III 5000 reel with an eight-foot battle rod.
