Last week, SAFC announced its 10th anniversary season celebration, which will reimagine some of the team’s jerseys.

Throughout the season, fans can expect tributes to past and present players who have contributed to the club, an SAFC news release said.

An Academy Night will be held during the season to celebrate the team’s Pro Academy players, according to a news release.

Prior to the season’s kickoff, all SAFC season ticket members will receive limited edition gifts celebrating the 10th anniversary season.

Earlier this week, SAFC announced Carlos Llamosa as its new head coach.

Llamosa brings 14 years of professional coaching experience across the North American Soccer League (NASL) and Major League Soccer (MLS) ahead of his time with SAFC.

Across an 18-year playing career as a defender, Llamosa accrued time in Colombia’s second and first divisions, with 181 appearances across four MLS teams.

At the international level, Llamosa has 29 caps with the U.S. Men’s National Team from 1998 to 2002. He retired in 2007.
