SAN ANTONIO – KSAT meteorologist Sarah Spivey has a new ray of sunshine in her life: a baby boy named Everett.
Sarah and her husband, Michael, welcomed Everett Presley on Monday. Everett was born 7 lbs, 9 ounces and 19 inches long.
“We are so thankful to Dr. Hasty, Four Seasons Ob/Gyn, and the staff at Methodist Children’s Hospital Methodist Hospital for helping us welcome our first child. Truly, so grateful!“ Sarah said.
“Everett’s named after my dad. And his middle name - Presley - is in honor of my husband’s mom’s family. A great little combo of our loving families,” she continued.
Sarah said she will “be soaking in newborn bliss” and will be stepping away from work and social media over the next few months.
“Thank you to my wonderful coworkers at KSAT for helping us enjoy this time of maternity leave,” she said, adding that she expects to be back on air in March.
Everett is Sarah and Michael’s first child. Sarah joined KSAT in 2017.
