SAN ANTONIO – Several popular products were recalled due to serious safety concerns.
HTRC C240 battery chargers, Mr. Christmas decorative tree light controllers and Yoto mini speakers were recalled due to potential dangers like fire and burn hazards.

HTRC C240 battery chargers:
According to the Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC), HTRC is recalling around 34,000 battery chargers due to 32 fire reports, including one injury.
The chargers can cause a connected battery to ignite or ignite on their own, posing fire and burn hazards.
The battery chargers were sold through Amazon.com, eBay.com, AliExpress.com and other online retailers between December 2017 and June 2024.
The CPSC recommends users stop using the chargers immediately and contact HTRC for instructions on how to receive a refund..

Mr. Christmas Tree Light Controllers:
Mr. Christmas is recalling about 44,600 Wireless Decorative Tree Light Controllers due to the risk of the wireless receiver overheating, posing a fire hazard.
The CPSC said there have been 10 reports of overheating, including one report of a fire. No injuries have been reported.
The controller was sold from July through November 2024 at Walmart, Target and Cracker Barrel, as well as Mr. Christmas' online platforms, between $25 and $40.
According to the CPSC, users should return the controller to where they purchased it to receive a full refund.

Yoto Mini Speakers:
Yoto is reannouncing a recall of its mini speakers for children.
The CPSC said the mini speakers, which were previously recalled in April, pose a serious fire hazard, due to the lithium-ion battery overheating and catching fire.
There have been nine reports of the speaker melting after overheating. No injuries were reported, and the CPSC said they should be taken away from children.
According to the CPSC, the speakers were sold nationwide at Target.com, yotoplay.com, Amazon.com and other toy stores from November 2021 through April 2024.
People can contact Yoto for a free battery replacement kit.
Those who previously contacted Yoto from the April 2024 recall should still request the replacement kit, the CPSC said.
Lithium-ion batteries should be disposed of according to local and state regulations.
