ME’s office identifies 2 killed in far Northwest Bexar County crash

It is unclear how many people were involved in the crash

The Bexar County Medical Examiner’s Office has identified the two victims killed in a far Northwest Bexar County crash.

Fabian Pedraza Rebollar, 38, and Rufino Pedraza Rebollar, 46, both died in the crash on Tuesday afternoon, according to the ME’s office.

The cause and manner of death for both were not immediately known.

It is unclear how many people were involved in the crash.

ORIGINAL STORY: A fatal crash has caused road closures in far Northwest Bexar County, according to the Bexar County Sheriff’s Office.

The accident happened just before 4 p.m. near Boerne on Interstate 10 westbound near the Fair Oaks Parkway access road.

One person was reported dead at the scene and the other passengers involved were transported to a local hospital with unknown injuries, BCSO said.

It is unknown how many people were involved in the crash.

The traffic on the access road will be diverted to a different route until further notice.

Travel on the main lanes of I-10 westbound should not be affected, BCSO said.
